About Houseli Guides

Houseli Guides explains Android in plain language, written by an independent developer.

Who is behind it

The site is run by the developer of Blurify, a free Android app that gives the phone a glass-style volume bar. Working with Android permissions every day showed how few clear explanations exist for ordinary users, and these guides are an attempt to fill that gap.

How the guides are written

• Each guide is written to help you decide something, not to sell you something.
• When something depends on the phone brand or Android version, we say so.
• If you find a mistake, tell us and we will fix it and update the date at the top.

Advertising

The site may show ads served by Google, which help pay for hosting and for the time spent writing. Ads are always labelled and never mixed into the text of a guide. Advertisers do not influence what we write. See the privacy policy for how advertising uses cookies.
